The Education and Workforce Advisory Board
focuses on developing strategies to ensure that K-12 educational institutions
work closely with Florida's
public and private colleges and universities to effectively utilize technology
education innovation and graduate a high-tech workforce.Furthermore, the board develops strategies to
assist educational institutions, government, and the private sector in
training, retaining, and recruiting skilled high-tech workers.Partnerships with the Board of Education,
teachers' groups, and the private sector help implement those strategies.
